TAMI is a design research project developed by the School of Design and School of Engineering from Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile. The research was financed by the Office of Research and PhD (Dirección de Investigación y Doctorados) through the Internal Starter Fund 2018 (Fondo Interno de Inicio 2018). The project involved the participation of researchers, professors, and over 120 students from both schools.  

The project also received support from the Design Research Society through the DRS Student Bursary.
